One cool chick

People ask, "Who is that person over there?" to which people say, "That's one cool chick."

It's Christmas time!

I can finally breathe a sigh of relief. School is done for two weeks, and both Christmas concerts went off really well. The concert at the church was well received (as far as I heard), which is always good, but the one I was really stressed about was the one at the school.

I was really nervous that no one would like the script and that it would be too long and everyone would be bored and talking by half-way through. However, a lot of people really liked it, and they liked the fact that we acted out the Crippled Lamb for the nativity. So there you go.

The best part of the whole concert for me was when the curtains opened when the K/1's were on the stage dressed as dolls and soldiers, everyone went "awww!", and then they did it again when the curtains opened on my little sheep and shepherds. I couldn't stop smiling! And I even had the best seat in the house because I sat at the piano the whole time. That was actually really great, too, because I didn't have to deal with the kids in the classroom during the concert!

Now, it's the day before Christmas Eve, and I have very mixed feelings. My family has always celebrated Christmas on the Eve, and then Christmas Day was spent doing things together. We really aren't the kind to just sit around all day and visit. We have to do things. But on the other side, that's exactly what they do all day, or the men go out and do things together. Since my family is having Christmas in Calgary, I'm going to be with Trent's family. So I'm looking forward to it because I love his family, but I have a really hard time sitting around all day. *sigh* I could really use some prayer for a better attitude and the ability to not get stir crazy.

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas, and God bless!
