Why I love June.

June has always been one of my favorite months. First and foremost, obviously, is because it's my birth month. It also happens to be the best month to be born in because it's half way through the year, so the presents are fairly evenly distributed. Secondly, because school is almost done, PATs are wrapping up, and the two-month fabulous holiday is in sight. (I apologize to all those who find a two-month holiday offensive.) Thirdly, it's finally starting to warm up to bad sledding weather. I cannot handle the cold (sorry, Lex, you're on your own here). But best of all, June means that my anniversary is just that much closer (aww!). :)

Mmmm, vomit.

Today I was at a meeting at the most opportune time. I had two vomitting children. I know that it's part of the job description to deal with these moments, but I am a firm believer that no one should have to. And since I was at a meeting, I didn't! But I feel sorry for my sub.

What's an addiction?

Well, as you know, I just began my blog last Friday. Since then, I have been pondering about it. What should I write? Who else should I notify that I even have a blog? What kinds of things will I never write about? How the heck can I add links? (The last question, I did manage to answer.) And this, that I am writing, is completely spur of the moment, as so many other topics flitted through my head, I cannot remember a single one.

As my title indicates, as what point should I label this an addiction? If something consumes you, and you cannot live without it, that is an addiction, right? Sigh. I think I'm not addicted to blogging just yet, but the comments do make my day much brighter. :)

Inauguration

Well, I've done it. Something that I promised myself and many others I would not do. I have officially joined the world of blogging. I'm sure that many people's initial blogs state this same fact, but if I'm already following the crowd, why not go all the way.
